Welcome to Pawsitive Coaching. By engaging our services, booking appointments, purchasing packages, attending training sessions, or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

 

1. About Pawsitive Coaching

 

Pawsitive Coaching provides positive reinforcement training, behaviour coaching, puppy education, Animal Kinesiology, Animal Reiki, wellbeing support, workshops, educational resources, and related services for animals and their guardians.

 

Our services are designed to support animal wellbeing, learning, confidence, and the human-animal relationship through compassionate, evidence-informed, and holistic approaches.

2. Veterinary Care & Health Disclaimer

 

Pawsitive Coaching does not provide veterinary diagnosis, treatment, prescription, or medical advice.

 

Animal Kinesiology, Reiki, and other wellbeing services are complementary modalities intended to support overall wellbeing and are not a substitute for veterinary care.

 

Clients agree to seek veterinary advice for any health concerns and to inform Pawsitive Coaching of any known medical conditions, injuries, illnesses, medications, or relevant health information that may impact the animal’s participation in services.

3. Behaviour & Training Disclaimer

 

Animal behaviour is influenced by many factors, including but not limited to:

 

* Genetics

* Health and medical conditions

* Previous experiences

* Environment

* Management practices

* Learning history

* Consistency of implementation

 

As every animal and situation is unique, Pawsitive Coaching cannot guarantee specific behavioural or training outcomes.

 

Recommendations and coaching are provided in good faith and are intended to support positive progress; however, success depends on numerous factors beyond our control.

4. Positive Reinforcement Approach

 

Pawsitive Coaching is committed to force-free, positive reinforcement-based training methods.

 

Services do not include the use of punishment-based training techniques, physical corrections, intimidation, fear-based methods, or aversive training equipment.

 

Clients acknowledge that behaviour change is a process that requires patience, consistency, and ongoing practice.

5. Client Responsibilities

 

Clients agree to:

 

* Provide accurate and complete information regarding their animal.

* Disclose any history of aggression, biting, reactivity, or other behavioural concerns.

* Follow safety recommendations provided during sessions.

* Ensure their animal is appropriately managed and supervised.

* Seek veterinary assessment when recommended.

* Maintain responsibility for their animal at all times unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Failure to disclose relevant information may impact the effectiveness and safety of services.

6. Animal Welfare

 

The welfare and wellbeing of the animal will always be prioritised.

 

Pawsitive Coaching reserves the right to modify, postpone, or discontinue any activity if it is believed that continuing may compromise the safety or wellbeing of the animal, guardian, or others present.

7. Assumption of Risk

 

Clients acknowledge that working with animals involves inherent risks.

 

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

 

* Scratches

* Bites

* Falls

* Property damage

* Behavioural incidents

* Interactions with other animals

 

By participating in services, clients voluntarily accept these risks.

8. Limitation of Liability

 

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Pawsitive Coaching shall not be liable for any injury, illness, loss, damage, expense, behavioural incident, or consequential loss arising from participation in services, implementation of recommendations, or interactions involving an animal.

 

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

9. Animal Kinesiology & Reiki Services

 

Animal Kinesiology and Animal Reiki are complementary wellbeing modalities that aim to support relaxation, balance, and overall wellbeing.

 

Responses vary between animals and no specific outcomes are guaranteed.

 

These services are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical or behavioural condition.

 

Clients acknowledge that these services are complementary and should not replace appropriate veterinary care.

10. Bookings & Payment

 

Payment is required prior to or at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.

 

Packages must be paid for in accordance with the agreed payment arrangement.

 

Pawsitive Coaching reserves the right to refuse or suspend services where payment remains outstanding.

11. Cancellations & Rescheduling

 

Appointments may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours’ notice.

 

Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee of up to 100% of the session fee.

 

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without notice may result in forfeiture of the session fee.

 

Exceptions may be considered at the discretion of Pawsitive Coaching in cases of emergency or unforeseen circumstances.

12. Package Validity

 

Unless otherwise stated, prepaid packages must be used within 12 months of purchase.

 

Unused sessions beyond this period may be forfeited unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

13. Refund Policy

 

Services already provided are non-refundable.

 

Refund requests for prepaid packages will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative fees or deductions for services already delivered.

 

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

14. Photographs, Videos & Testimonials

 

Pawsitive Coaching may request permission to use photographs, videos, testimonials, or case studies for educational and marketing purposes.

 

No client or animal images will be used without consent.

 

Clients may withdraw consent for future use at any time by contacting Pawsitive Coaching.
